Default N1 exhasut will not fit!!!!!????!?!?!??!

Hi i just had a question. I have a 97 integra gsr and i bought a 98-01 LS/type R apexi N1 exhaust from someone thinking that they all fit. I tried to put it on today and the piping was a little short. The back 2 pipes connect without a problem, but when i try to put the last part on ( the one going to the hearder) it was too short. My question is. Is the 98 and up model have a longer cat converter comparied to the 94-97 integras. And if so do you guys think i can just get a aftermarket 98-up cat converter? Maybe obx, then do u think (if the cat converter from the 98- up is longer) it would work? I dont want to take it to a shop to measure it and weld a 2.5" extension to it, just incase they charge me a grip. Someone said that a 00-01 LS cat converter would work with my 97 gsr, what you guys think? Any help is much thx!

the ls uses a longer downpipe on the header, than a gsr does....just go on ebay and buy a ebay ls header, or get someone to just weld it

theres different versions you know... thats why they have ls, gsr, type r specific n1's all integras have different exhaust manifold lengths.

hahahaha, maybe the question was already answered. and if his exhaust is too short then the accident somehow made the car longer lol!
