I have a 96 accord with a h22a4 swap i installed a autoguage tach yesterday an when i got off work at night i started the car let it warm up then i go to turn on the head lights then the fuse blows for the small light which would be the dash lights and the tail lights would it be from trying to get the wire from the tachometer threw the firewall to cause the wires to touch somewere while moving the tach around to get threw the firewall? to cause a short? i have tryed 3 fuses so far an the just blow when i turn on the headlights if anyone knows thanks for your help!
where abouts in your firewall did you send your tach wires (did you have to drill your own?). Also, how did you "fish" your wires through? Did you use a fish tape or some thing metal to pull wires through the hole? Also, where did you tap it to, to provide power to your tach?
