Default UFO noise?

well i just got a 07 lx last week. has 30 miles on it. 4 dr 5 spd. At.
every time you drive it 1,2 usually u hear the engine making a UFO humming noise. just want to make sure if thats how it should be like. Car was made in march so i got a really brand new car. Made in Usa if that makes any difference and tranny in Japan.
Also my coolent is on the min. line. will Honda fill it up for me for free or no?

not sure about the "ufo" noise, but if you're low on coolant already, i would most definately bring it in to honda. they may have not filled it up completely before delivery or you could be leaking coolant.

also i want to purchase the fogs from ebay . JDm yellow. has anyone purchased them before. how hard was the install. thanks

i doubt i have a leak. they just probably filled it up low. is should be half way when car is cold right?

humming noises yah i don't know whats up with that. i think its normal tho because i test drove a another civic and it worked the same. but i just want to make sure.

Driving it slow since its in the break in period right now and want to get 89 fual upgrade as soon as i am almost done with the crappy 87. Do gas stations make a difference like shell, Bp, citco?

coolant level, are you refering to the white tank? that is an overflow tank. not reservoir. open ur radiator cap, check if the tank is full. if its good, ur fine.

ive never heard what a ufo sounds like, but i work at a honda dealership and never heard of any strange noise. good luck.

I ordered K2 fogs off of ebay. I read alot of good reviews and a couple of bad reviews. But it seems like that one is the best to get if you want to get ebay fogs.

someone had the same problem on another website and she posted up that bulletin...
there's nothing on other websites about this issue. But print it out and take it to your dealership while going for a drive with a tech to let them know of the problem

We replaced an AC compressor on a new Civic a while back because of a similar humming/"UFO" sound. I think that the TSB posted above is your best bet though.

if they do f'up on ur ride then you'll have warranty...
Even if ur viN doesnt match up go on a road test with a tech and let him know the sound is similar to what the tbs says or advertises

Is it loud? From your description just seems like it's the normal sound of the tranny. Sure you just don't have the new car jitters where you think every little thing different than your last car is abnormal?
