Default AEM pulley problem maybe????

I just installed a set of AEM pulley's and my power steering pump is really loud now and i've loosened and tighten the belt and it's stilll loud. Is this normal? __________________

The pump is probably going bad or you are low on fluid.

AEM pullies really don't do anything good or bad.

the pump is fine. But fluid keeps bubbling up out of the resivoir. At idle it's not so bad but when i turn the wheel it started screaming like a skool girl

is it the pump that is screaming, or the belt...... maybe the pully is wrong and when pressure builds up in the system, it puts stress on the belt causing it to squeal due to improper tightening.... i dont know..... just a though

It's now more of an issue when i turn the wheels. The pump (or something somewhere in the system) is screaming. it's kinda like a waaaaaaaa sound.

Well, the cheapest thing to do right now is re-tension the belt and see if that fixes it.

Yes it's honda power steering fluid. I'm gonna put the OEM pulley back on and see. So let's hope the p/s pump didn't go bad.

Problem solved. There was an air leak in the system. I R&I'd the feed line and all my problems were solved.
