I was at the junkyard today when i found a sunroof in perfect condition in a 1991 4-door accord. I grabbed it for $25.

My question is, will it fit in a 1992 lx coupe. Any help would be appreciated, thanks

I hope this is an aftermarket sunroof you are talking about. The moonroofs from the factory slide inside the roof/ceiling, and will not work on another car. The roofs are totally different. If it is an aftermarket sunroof, it should work.

 

Its not an aftermarktet sunroof, it slides on the inside. I was thinking that would be a problem. So it is more than just bracket holding the sunroof to the stock roof and the hole in the roof for the glass. Cuz when i took it off at the junkyard it was mounted to the roof and the only thing i though would be a problem would be brackets and the roof liner. That probably doesnt make sense but thanks.

I talked to the guy at the junkyard and i can bring it back for store credit which is fine with me. Thanks for the reply though.

 

i'm pretty sure that the glass is interchangeable. If you are talking about installing a sunroof into a car that doesnt have one, then you are getting into alot of custom fab work, and it probably isnt worth the trouble
