Default Stock or Thin moldings?

I'm stuck between getting the CTR thin moldings for my hatch or just leaving my stock ones on there. I haven't seen the thin moldings in person but they're pretty sweet in what i see in pics. But i'm just stuck on whether to get them or not. The stock ones don't look too bad right now. But i'm gonna spray the car gunmetal in the next copuple of weeks and i don't want the moldings to stick out like a sore thumb

Any advice or comments welcomed

Couldn't you just shaved your stock molding so it's thinner.

Make sure they're paint matched either way.
