Sounds like you have a vac leak or your throttle cable is too tight.

Spray some break clean around your tb and see if you can find the leak if any. Did you adjust the idle at all on the new tb after you installed it?

check TB cable? possible vac leak? pull charge pipe off TB and block it so the motor shuts off. if it doesn't shut off, you've got yourself a vac leak.

take off your intake tube and you should see 1 or 2 holes (depends on year of motor). with your car running, cover the hole with your finger and your car should stop running. if it doesn't, then you have a vac leak somewhere. if you cover it and it dies then maybe the iac valve is bad?

i bought the manifold used and it already had a iacv on it. i took it off and put on the one that was on my stock manifold cause i dunno if it workd or not.

i messed around with the idle screw like forever thinking it was the issue.

ill take off the charge pipe and put my hand on the tb to see if my motor dies.
