question about JDM fogs
I tried the search thing and came up with nothing but just curious if anyone has an install writien up somewhere on them or not. I dont need to know about the wiring part, im just wondering if i need to cut out part of my bumper to make them fit? This is for a 4th gen.

yes theres a little bit of area that needs to be trimmed out of the lower portion so that the fogs can stick thru and attach to the bumper...if you remove the bumper and look inside where they are supposed to go, you will see a very faint dotted line area...thats the part that needs to be cut out...

thank only took me 2 and a half hours to do but i got it done. Might i add that after awhile it got pritty cold outside and finding what i needed and putting the bumper back on took the longest. BUT ITS DONE only thing that didnt work was that the stock button wont light up =*(
nope i didnt need anything once i figured out what i needed to cut out. I had some cheapo fogs on my lude and i just use those wires to hook up the JDM ones i got. Also the guy i bought them from sent me his rigged up set of wires and instructions as well, but like i said i didnt need them. Oh and the green light on the stock switch magically works now as well.

I was going to tell you if you didn't get them to work through the oem switch it's because you wired them with the cheapo ones instead of wires that are taped to the bumper light's..

well the foglights worked non-theless with the stock switch, the only thing i was saying that wasnt working was the green light on the stock switch. otherwise the fogs turned on and off when i pressed the buttong. BUt now the green light comes on so it doesnt matter now.

lol no one seems to read what i type. FIrst of all it was a 4th gen not a 5th gen and second my fog lights work. The only problem i was having was the stock foglight switch has a light on it and at first it didnt come on when the fogs were on. Ive come to the conclusion that there must be a loose wire in the switch its self cuz it come and goes every now and then.
BUT THE LIGHTS WORK WHICH IS ALL THE MATTERS NOW!!!!!!!!!!!
