Honda to supply engines to IRL in 2003
It seems pretty cool except for the fact they are teaming with Illmor. Atleast it will keep Honda top of mind to race fans in the US.

i just hope it doesn't become a rebadged Ilmor engine like the "Mercedes" CART motors few years ago.

Mercedes F1 engines still are rebadged...this year was the first that they got seriouly involved in the development. From what I hear they will be HONDA motors but Ilmor will be involved from a shared tech. standpoint.
Also...supposedly HONDA will stay in CART since they are goin to the new engine formula (NA...similar or idential to IRL)
