Default Need some help with smog

My 93 Honda Prelude wont pass smog, all stock right now exept DC sport headers, it was poluting 7% something before i changed the o2 sensor and it fails both 15 and 25 mph rolls, now i went for test run and it failed the 15mph, but 25 mph it passed, im trying to pass refree ticket. the o2 sensor is from 95 accord, the plug didnt match my so i had to cut the wires and match them up and make it to fit my prelude. I dont have no check engine light on, i dont know what can i do to make it pass. Can it be from catylic converter? Ill post the charts of the smog when i get home, any ideas?

Without the numbers this is just a total guessing game.

List 15mph and 25mph:

O2
CO2
NOx
HC
CO

All you need is a full tank of gas, a road atlas, and a destination very far away. California's emissions laws are mentally challenged. LOL

Your first readings show you running ridiculously rich and misfiring. Your old o2 was either lazy or biased low voltage.

Your second readings show decent combustion efficiency but poor catalytic efficiency. You were running so pig rich with the bad o2 sensor that you blew your cat. Should've fixed this at the start and you could've saved buying another cat.

If I were you, I would find somebody that would write you off as passing. I had to with my 97. It just failed horribly. Find someone that will pass you and look the other way. Its going to cost you a pretty penny, but you'll have the paperwork.

CA is the worst period.

NOx Oxides of nitrogen. High numbers mean excessive engine temperature. NO is produced when temperatures in the combustion chambers exceed 2500 degrees Fahrenheit.
Check to see if your EGR system is malfunctioning.

California should target the big diesel trucks before it targets a 1.5L civic. If you want to pass, I think its matters who you take it too, but since its the ref, your screwed.

it says that your EGR is modified... thats probably why you're failing the NOx... fix your EGR and you should pass...

yea.. you're so close from passing for NOx... fixing your EGR should help you out...
