NEED QUICK ADVICE!!!!!
as u know new england is gettin all this snow!!!!!... earlier this week was like spring weather so im like ppppft not like we can get more snow so i put my rims bac on. now its snowing which = no traction cause of tires... but my question is...... will the salt really eat at my crome lip???????? my friend told me that once in a while if u get some salt from the salt its ok jus make sure u wash it not to long afterwards.... i jus rinsed them with warm water but still a lil worried bout that salt theory... their tenzo-r's so i would think the chrome lip would hold ok ... please any advice would be appreciated!
If they are a polished chrome lip your more than likely ok to rock those rims on salty roads. If they are chrome dipped or powder coated, I would use caution and do what your friend told you to do. Wash them. Well, either way I would listen to him, and try to keep them clean. On a side note. I understand your impatiens with winter weather, however, here in Wisconsin I live by one rule. Five rains after the last snow fall before your rims go on. That way you know there isn't any salt still polluting the roadways!
