the dizzy is brand new (bearings went bad in last one and had to replace) however it has an msd 6al and blaster ss installed (was installed when swap put in)... could it be something to do with that??? problem started one day randomly few weeks after dizzy change... and like i said, nothing was changed but the dizzy ???

-checked timing today and hard to get an exact setting because of the idle problem??
-possible vaccume leak?
-TPS sensor???
thanks again

I had the same issue a couple weeks ago. The screw came off that holds the rotor on and spun around inside the dizzy and fucked up the sensor. The rotor stayed on and car ran still.

Take the cap off the distributor and you'll see a black square box thingy that has a small piece of metal coming out of it. It works much like the "points" on the distributor cap when the rotor comes around and brushes them. I'd try to just replace that sensor from another distributor. Other models' sensors could possibly work i would think.

check to make sure ur timing marks r lined up correctly.. the cams and the crank might not be lined up properly.. TDC the motor and make sure the marks line up.. make sure u TDC the crank first than check the marks on the cam gears.. they might be off
