Default replacing dash peice

well, someone broke in my car and broke the dash peice that cover over the ac control, it's the sperate plastic peice that is screwed into the dash. so I took the peice out my firend's civic, I had to remove the bolts from the back side, so does that mean I HAVE to take my dash out and screw it in? or is there an easier way than removin the whole dash?

if you are talking about the radio bezel then yes you have to remove the dash to remove it and re-install it.

if you removed it from your friends civic then you should already know this.
