ive got a 92 lude h23 with quite a bit of wrk don to it when put under heavy exceleration it cuts out anybody else have this problem

 

Whats quite a bit of work? head work, bolt ons, let us know then we can go from there, it could be quite a few things

I was having the same problem when i got my lude but then (2-3 days after i got it) i realize that there was an on/off swich for my factory electronic traction control. LOL

 

bored out 60 over ,je pistons,aem fuel rail ,filter,pressure regulator,injectors,bosh fuel pump,cold air intake,msd ignition,coil ,wires,dc headers,high flow cat,cam gears,unorthodox pully set...crank, alt ,p/s,zex nitrous kit,stage one clutch,exaust.thanks for all ur help

take the msd off and see if the problem goes away.. the next step would be to replace the cap/rotor/wires if they are old.

it was happening before the msd thats why i put it on . i thought it was running a little rich so i put the msd on the msd blaster coil also ,an adjusted the fuel pressure agin an agin but it still miss fires an cuts out,it runs like a dream any thing under half acceleration any more an it jerks real bad then starts its crap,i appreciate all your advice,thank you

 

the cap is about 5months old the wires are same as brand new i cant drive the car alot right now i dont want to mess it up till i figure out what is rong with itill try the rotor thanks..

 

was the engine ever tuned with hondata or something similar? i notice that you said you have aftermarket injectors, how big are they? Did this problem happen to start after going through a bottle of nitrous? lol.

give us a history of the problem. i could be so many things.

 

it was reflashed by jet half way thru the build.i do have a zex nirous kit hooked up but ive never sprayed the motor. the histoy is , a little old lady hit the front of the car right after i got it fashed.i sold the car ,the guy i sold it to put the fuel system on it as far as the rail and pressure regulator . i then realize i made a mistake, i bought the car back . it was running a little rich . i drove it home goining to travel about 50 miles on inerstate,at about 75 -80 miles an hour about 30 miles into the trip it cut out bogged out real bad then died .it has cut out every since.
