i couldnt find any 4 door spoon style mirrors anywhere, so i bought the 2/3 door ones.

my question is, has anybody made these fit? or know of anybody who has?

it looks like it could definatly be done. i do know i have to drill some holes so it will line up. but im not sure how im going to go about fitting the rest of it.

the sedan backing is pointed, and the coupe/hatch is rounded.

anyone have any suggestions? TIA

 

if the coupe/hatch ones are bigger, you could always cut them to fit to the sedan, and then drill holes using black screws and attach em to your sedan......ghetto, but it works, lol.

 

yeah thats kinda what i was thinking

but i was going to trim up the backing so it would fit snug to the 4 door and then just drill holes right next to the existing ones already on the car...

any more ideas?

not trying to take over the thread man...but can you really not see as much in the spoon mirrors as the oem mirrors??

 

this is very true my friend.

i'm sure the legit spoon mirrors have better visibility than the knock offs though.
