i have a d16z6 in a ef dx....i bought the car wit the motor in it and im guessin the trans was an si.....the trans went up bought a week ago...i left it in and bought a complete d16a6 swap...pulled the trans off and got it rebuilt...the trans is gettin put in this weeked...is there anything i should do when i put it in as motor wise...? Replace axles? wheel bearing? waterpump? Timing Belt?....
buying axles? what do i say? a 1991 ef si with a d16a6 would the work? im not sure what kind of hubs i have? i kno when doing a bseries swap in a dx you need si hubs but im not sure if i have them?
HONDA MTF? good trans fluid? how many quarts? where can i buy it? do i need a certain wieght for the si trans?
MOUNTS!! where can i find brand new dseries ef mounts? can you send me links? does anyone have any? my current mounts are trash? does anyone make AFTERMARKET ONES?
recomendations on a good clutch for the car? also a flywheel? should flywheel be replaced or turned down?

I would do the water pump and TB, any seals that are hard to replace when the motor is installed. For tranny fluid, I used Honda MTF and it takes about 1.9 quarts but buy 3 because you never know when you will need a little extra in case you spill some.
Yes, get your flywheel resurfaced, it only costs about $20 and it will save you a headache, as far as the clutch it all depends on what your plans are for the car but ACT makes a great Street/Strip clutch that I recommend.

Here in CA I knew of a place that did it for $20, not sure in MD though, sorry.
The MTF is all the same, just ask your local dealer.
As far as mounts/axles, why do you want to get aftermarket ones? What are your plans for the car?

and as for the axles..im just looking for stock brand new ones? me n buddies all go to the local salvos for axles for a good price...but when u go there you have to give them a car of which you want the axles..so i was asking if 1991 si axles would work since the 91 si has a d16a6 in it?????
