i need help immediately...
i have 17 inch rims, with low pros on them. keep in mind, i did not what "low pro" even meant until i bought this car. now, before you judge and criticize how dumb i am when it comes to cars, etc, i did not buy this 94 accord with intentions to race, or drive it hard. i just wanted it too look the best it could be, and ride the best, (keep it well maintained). now, i keep blowing tires. i try to dodge pot holes and ****, but I'm obviously not that good at it. i don't have enuff money to spend on brand new low pro tires, which i have figured out the hard way, that a single tire can run me about 80 bucks. WOW. too much ****** money, so i kept going to the flat fix spots, i know they don't do the best work, but its all i can afford.
now, my question.... in order for me to maximize the durability of the car, is it best for me to buy the original stock rims and tires, and put them ***** on, or is their a more durable type of tire i can put on these rims i have already?
another question, would it be possible to get a 4-5 lug adapter for my car, and put accord stock rims from a newer gen accord?
once again, keep in mind i don't know **** about this stuff. so explain like I'm a 3 year old please.
sorry for the inconveniance, and i appreciate the time anyone can take out of their day to give me some pointers on how to handle my situation.

and where can i get the rims from? any site that you reccomend i can look at right now? i get off of work at 9am, and after I'm going to the slavage yards to see what i can grab, but i want to see if i see anything online first.
if your not real worried about the flashy looks of the larger rims, then I would definitely drop down to some factory size 15" rims. They still look good and your ride will feel more comfortable with the bigger side wall of the 15" tire.
I knew this guy that has a 94 Accord EX with 17" Buddy Club P1 rims. They looked real nice and thats what came with the car when he bought it. Fast forward a year and he had just put new tires on and went somewhere, was on his way home still about 3 hours away and he hit a pothole that he wasn't able to avoid. He blew the tire and damaged the rim. After that he said screw it and bought my 92-96 Prelude Si rims off me and sold his 3 remaining 17" Buddy Club rims. He wasn't into the looks and just wanted a reliable comfortable ride and he was very pleased with going to the 15" rim, plus the tires are cheaper.
You can get rims from any 90-02 4cyl Accord. The 98-02 6cyl Accords had 5 lug so those won't work. The bolt pattern is 4x114.3 if you didn't know. If you can't find anything at local junkyards, try eBay, just watch out for outrageous shipping rates.
also, you can do a 5-lug conversion but it's involved, not necessary and not worth it for you.

Yes, I would definitely check your local Craigslist. Being that you live in NY, you should not have a problem at all finding a set of stock rims for around $100 -$150(maybe even with tires). I see 'em pop up all the time out here. I actually think that the 94/95 Accord EX 15" 7 spoke rims have a damn good style for being 13 years old. I think the Acura 2.2 CL and 2.3 CL rims might fit as well.
You'll also probably be able to sell your old rims on Craigslist too. You'd be suprised what people buy.
