Default Motor mounts- options

I am certain my mounts are bad. I don't know which ones specifically, or to what extent. What are my options as far as remedies go, short of replacing the mounts themselves? I'm really keen on maintaining stock-like vibration free conditions.

Yes. 5g SH. I'm really looking for the lowest-cost option to retain a civil vibration-free ride.

I do not think anybody makes aftermarket mounts yet for the 5th gen. Explicit speed and innovative would be your best bet though. I wonder if any 4th gen oem mounts will fit the 5th. If so, I have a full set of oem mounts if needed...

The mounts for base and sh are interchangeable. I'd just order an oem replacement for whatever mount is bad.

Inserts are so the mounts will be stiffer. You're going to get more vibration. I don't know how safe that is if you have a broken motor mount. I would check to see which one it is. You need to replace it before the added stress on one of the others breaks one of them. I doubt that would happen if you have 3 good ones, but I personally wouldn't take the chance. Fix it early. Fix it cheaper.

I just talked to a guy from Energy Suspension yesterday and he said that their inserts would increase the vibrations by up to 20%.

I have the ES inserts on my 99sh, and love it they break in after a time or maybe im just getting use to it. What i did do was adjust my idle a bit higher, almost 900-1kish and it feels fine, below that and it vibrates a little.. i wouldnt call it bad at all tho.. and for 37$ off ebay it was the best upgrade i have done for the money.. the motor barely moves at all. +1 for inserts.

I'm running Place Racing motor mounts in my 5th. It's one of the stiffest mount you can get. If you're lucky you may be able to find one used, because PR is no longer in business...
