Default My EM1 timeline! (56k beware)

So now that I have owned my car for 6 months I decided I would throw together a little timeline just to show where I started and where im at. It feels like just a few weeks I had picked it up at the dealership. It took me a while to get into it because when I bought it it was burning oil. After a few weeks in and out of the shop they finally tore down the bottom end and rebuilt it and it was good as new.

***UPDATE>>>>PLEASE READ*****

Since I ended up being unhappy with my wheels after such a short time, I'd looked for a long time before deciding on a set. SSR's have always been one of my favorite wheels, mainly b/c of mooks old white coupe. I finally came upon some locall for a good price and had to scoop them up. Purple lug nuts are in the mail and i'll post pics when they are mounted on 45 series tires.

******************UPDATE PICS************************

New wheels are here, but still have not been mounted. Cut VC, cam gears and innovative billet mounts (not pictured) have all been added. Figured I would update this thread a little. CTR headlights and vision mirrors are the last 2 things that will go on before i move onto another project and buy a motor later on.

This was a week after I bought it:

My first mods were an Exedy stage 1 clutch, 12 lb flywheel, skunk 2 full coilovers and bronze lower control arms also from skunk 2. This was all before I had done much lurking on H-T and didn’t really know what was “hot”.

So after I dumped it I rolled it like this for a while

After a claybar, wash and wax it was pretty shiny before the end of summer, so I took a couple pics with my friends dc2. they are just for reference with a point and shoot, I wasn’t really going for a photoshoot

Had some spare parts left over after I replaced the stock suspension they are still sitting in my garage collecting dust

One of the few night shots I have taken

Random mirror shot

Built an Ipod mount in our aircraft sheetmetal shop (national guard)

Got the asr and ITR rear sway combo, installed the ASR but had to wait a long time for my function 7 enlinks.

First mini shoot i had done, it was with my point and shoot. Spent a little while getting to know PS.

Took a roadtrip to Colorado to visit my dad, they had a huge blizzard a few days before I got there

Highway on the way home

Dirty car

Buried accord

Finally started warming up so I painted the inside of my headlights

Got wheels

Then my Koni/Gc’s came, I installed my ITR sway and got my tires.

Passoword JDM fogs

Wheels on

Schroth 4 pt for autox

Had to get a nice spot for my *** to rest

Random photo

New mirrors and gutted interior

first autox event with the EM1

second autox event....still learning

greddy header....its connected to a testpipe and apexi ws2 exhaust now but i have yet to take pictures

UPDATED PICS!!

NRG short hub, v2 QR momo race wheel with alcantara (suede)

Apexi VAFC. Once i do a swap this will come back out

money shot

new intake

almost forgot to add this one

Most recent full car shots

\

Bought 2 new front SI calipers from honda since one of mine was binding also replaced rotors and pads since the binding caliper grooved the rotor

SI caliper/new brembo brakes/axxis ult. pads

and a better pic of the interior

6/29/07 Seibon CF hood and lighterfaster.com CF sunroof plug kit have been installed.

8/8/07 Finally got my trunk installed, but someone hit the back of my car and cracked the paint on my bumper. so i've been without a bumper for about 4 weeks. Recently i went to a team integra meet. Here are a few pics from that.

i've been bustin my *** on a "mini/full wire tuck". I had to cut 1 harness to get it from the outer fender in under the fuse box. I learned to solder after i cut the harness and a bunch of other wires. But everything has been checked and it all works

so far:

Like everything except the missing interior. To me that only looks good with a hatchback. Overall everything is really nice though.

some people have bitched about me having recaro's and konigs but i really didn't care how much the konigs cost, they looked good and they are pretty lightweight so i bought them.

the recaro's make my butt happy

I like the wheels. I would like to see them without the black painted inside though. I think it might look better.

I am actually really surprised how good the Konigs look. Very impressive man.

As far as people bitching, did they pay for it???
