Default Dizzy Question....

i had a D15b in my car im swaping in a Y5 bottom with a Y8 head....the dizzy is from a ZC and it has a 2 wire round plug and a 5 wire square plug....the dizzy from my d15 has the 2 wire round plug, but the 5 wire plug is different... i wanted to know if i can use the connector from the d15 dizzy and just rewire the ZC dizzy and repin the plug so it will work?

Will this work? if not can you explain what i need to do? and if this just seems like incoherent rambling, ask questions.....

Thanks,
ONE DESPRATE EFer....

yes, that is exactly what you need to do, repin the harness side to use the dizzy's square plug

thanks... but i alson need to know if i can just match the 3 wires pinned on the top of the plug and the 2 wires on the bottom of the plug with the wiring harness... this is because the colors dont match...

Also, the D15 dizzy was rewired, it has 4 wires whereas the zc dizzy has 2, the 4 wires from the D15 go in C1 & C2 of the Ecu, and i know that the guy before me did this... My question is can i depin the 4 wires and run 2 new wires so that the 2 wire plug for the zc dizzy will work? will this work? if not, any suggestions?

Your going to need a multipoint ECU, and dist, it has 2 round plugs, 1 with 2 wires, and 1 with 7 wires... Then match up the 5 wires that are currently in the square plug, run the extra 2 blue wires down to the ecu and tap them to c1 and c2, Search for MPFI Conversion for more info... Unless your incoherent rambling has led me to my own

C1 & C2 are split into a 4 socket plug.... they are split into B10(White wire with red stripe) & B12(Black)....

Question 1: Do B10 & B12 go into the 2 wire plug on the dizzy????, the dizzy has a Blk & Yellow and a Blue...

Question 2: Do the colors for the wires that i have to hook up from the dizzy match the wires on the wiring harness? or can someone tell me what colors i would use????
