Default CRX not holding idle, then dying. HELP PLEASE.

I recently helped a friend put a 1992 civic dx engine into his 1988 crx dx. we swaped over to mpfi and used a crx si ecu and distributor. The car starts up and runs fine, however when you let off of the throttle the car cuts off. Does anyone know what might be causing this?? I also was wondering if we needed to swap over the map sensor or if the stock crx dx one would work?? Thanks for any help.

Ever heard of tuning?

Maybe air to fuel ratios?

Stock would work depending upon OBD#
