putting it on her credit card. it's going to cost over 2200. shes paying half of it. what do u think i should do about the honda dealership? if i would of kept driving it after they said it was fine and the engine got worse and eventually broke down, that would of been something under warranty. u think?

You can probably get your money back for the diagnosis if you try hard enough. As far as getting anything else covered its not going to happen.

I'd make her pay for ALL of it ...

You should get every penny back IMO. They totally botched the diagnosis. How could they miss something THAT severe??

Still don't think they should have even charged you with the diagnosis to begin with if you're under the mileage limit. Diagnosis should still be covered.

I think you just got jacked.

I would go back and speak with the service director of the dealership and explain the situation. Hope everything works out for you bro!

o believe me, i am. getting over 200 back for them doing nothing. it just seems off if they can't prove that they did it.

Good that you got your $$$ back but I would not have them do that work on the car if they cant even diagnose the car corrrectly.

I think its good that your both paying for this since she was driving you home since you were drinking.

how bout honda is covering it. it took 3 calls from me and 1 from my girlfriend. they're enging up covering it under an act called goodwill. since we told the truth and the dealership was lying; they're will cover it this 1 time. it's awesome considering that there might be more stuff wrong than just the vlves and cylinder. hoorah for honesty!

Wow, congratulations buddy, consider this a "get out of jail free card".

I'm really glad to see someone getting a break from the dealership for once. THEY DIDN'T EVEN DIAGNOSE ANYTHING!!!! That blows my mind...
