Carpet cleaning
My GF has an 02 civic she recently spilled a flavored cappuchino on her floor mat but it was a large enough quantity that it seeped through the floor mat onto the carpet she didnt have time to clean it cause she was late for class came back cleaned as best as she could now her car reeks of sour milk she has cleaned it numerous times with carpet cleaner, fabreezed it a lot and still smells. I think that it went through the carpet and saturated the floor boards just want more opinions if so how can I go about fixing the smell problem.
Most do it yourself car washes have a carpet shampoo machine and that should work. They basicly have hot shampoo that comes out and then you use the attatchment to suck it out. That wiil get all the nastyness out of the carpet.
You could also buy a small bissel carpet cleaner/extractor they work really good and arnt that expensive, I really like mine

If you can get a hold of a shampooer maybe you can try that. It would be able to spray it down with soap and then rinse it with water while sucking it up.
