first throw in some GM mesh tranny oil, this could either get rid of the grinding or lessens the griding or not help it at all but its worth doing it. My 3rd and 2nd starting going out in my y8 changed the tranny oil, it was good for day then back to normal, i just went out and bought a new tranny and clutch and threw it on.
