Default how do I remove the wings west door things?

i bought my rex with a ww migen replica kit, and I'm taking it off but I dont know how to remove the two things attached to the doors. I know they're "glued" on, but how do I go about removing them without damaging the paint underneath?

thanks

I know on mine, i used some self tapping screws and some double sided tape that supplied with the kit. If this is the case, then just remove the screws and the tape should release easily by pulling with your hand.

If it is infact glued, your best bet is to get a heat gun and carefully work your way from left/right or right/left.

It depends on how it was stuck on...I would suggest looking into NYLON tools (basially plastic tools) for removal-now they wont be cheap (about $30-50 per set-but a pal says Harbour Frieght has them now ). Most are stuck on with double sided tape-while I have seen cases of screws being used as well.

Whateve you do...work slowly and carefully.

if the screws were used, where are they located? were they screwed in from the inside of the door?

yeah, from the inside along the bottom lip, you should be able to access them without removing any panels

I bought it with a b16 in it, its my second car, the prelude I had ripped a brake line and I hit a curb at about 50 and bent the frame, so I bought this rex, runs strong, but has a few problems, one being the body kit. needs a new wheel bearing. I just need new fenders, front bumper reinforcement and 90-91 bumper, plus the door moldings from a 90-91, pm me if any of u guys have any. im installing a clutch soon and I wanna but stage 2 cams and full valve train soon, but im only 16 still.

Hey Im interested in your door caps. I have the stock side skirts and the ones that go on the bottom of the door if you are interested in alittle trading.
