Default WHEN MOUNTING A HEADER........

ok...thanks for any help! CAR: 01' civic LX D17 motor

i have an after market exhaust already on my car and plan getting a header. my question is this........

do i mount it right to the factory CAT, or do i replace the CAT as well?

do i have to remove or loosen the radiator to fit the header in?

will the header come out on top, or from the bottom of the car?

any additional information you guys can give me to aid me in my project will be much appreciated! i know its a simple bolt on, and i'm quite capable...i'm just making sure i don't run into something in the middle of my build.

The best way to learn is to pop your hood and try it...

im being nice today so..

raise your car up, unbolt the header (it will drop out through the bottom), reinstall your aftermarket header. you dont need to take out your radiator.

if the cat is the same diamater piping it should just bolt up if not you'll need to get a test pipe or something.
