Default My 89 prelude.....H22 project vehicle.

Just picked her up on Monday... it's a 89 2.0si

Complete interior, complete motor...(deosnt run due to possible internal issues although i'll know more when i get a new timing belt installed....Its snapped )

Needs new quarterpanels or just alot patch work....

But all for only $400 ....

I plan on cleaning her up and turning it into a street/track car. I have a daily driver (jeep Grand cherokee) so this project is gonna go slow since i have no reason to rush.

For my plans And progress.....go here.

Nice. I've been thinking about getting another one of those. I had the same car and I couldn't find a front lip anywhere. Is that OEM?

Good luck with the build.

The lip on mine is an accord lip.

Theres actually a few lips that mount up with a little modification needed.

the 88-89's will take an 86ish accord lip with a little trim work.

88-91's bumpers will all accept g2 (90-93) integra lips. with slight modification.

theres tons of other parts from other vehicles that will mount or match up quite well. Theres a few writeups on the site below... for different options of things to do to a 3rd gen lude....

http://preludepower.com/forums...11212

And here is a link to a thread on the same site with lists of performance upgrades...

http://preludepower.com/forums...57172

theres quite a shortage of aftermarket prod. for these cars as you prolly know so most of us in the prelude community have been engineering our own **** and selling quantities of it to fellow luders.

If you havnt.... check out

Preludepower.com

most of the custom **** floating around has come from members of that site...

im on there too ...im Toxxicluder90.

not sure if you know but to give you a heads up.. to do the 90-91 rear end you also need to weld in the newer trunk support.

I heard that the trunk support could easily be modified. But don't take my word for it as I have never done it myself.

no i'm talking when you strip the tails bumper and all you have like the very rear most bulkhead that everything connects to. Because all the mounting points and what not are different than on the 89 one. There is a write up somewhere on preludepower.com
