Question About JDM CRX double DIN

Question About JDM CRX double DIN
I want to get a jdm double DIN for my crx, so i can have my cd player and use a din panel for three gauges. My question is how would i mount them in there. There is nothing to attach them to.

If it were me i'd make something out of some mdf wood, or abs plastic. I think it'd look badass. I was gonna do something like that on my 240sx but instead i just bought a pillar pods.

Thats not mine, just a pic i found. Im just trying to figure how everything mounts in that big hole.
