Bay Area ITR Meet (Sunday May 27th, at 1:00pm)
Hello,
I was wondering if any Integra Type-R owners would like to have another Bay Area ITR meet on Memorial Day weekend? I want it to be ITR only for security reasons and would like as many ITR's as possible. I want to see if I can get enough serious people interested before I post a location. If you are serious please email me. Only email me if you can come for sure.
If you are interested please email me at: d3chang@sbcglobal.net (a week before the meet to confirm)

Any other Bay Area ITR owners out there that want to come? Please help spread the word about the meet if you know someone with an ITR. I want to have at least 10 R's for the meet to be worth while.
I'm down. The last meet we had here in norcal was kinda cool. The turn out was okay with 8 cars I think? I think we need somewhere secluded and make it a bbq or something instead of standing around chatting in a parking lot. Maybe try to coordinate something with the S2ki crowd? They seem to have lots of events.
A bbq would be nice but I honestly think that is a lot of work and preparation that I don't want to take resposibility for. I would not mind chipping in for a bbq if you or anyone else that you might know wants to set it up. I just want to meet up with other fellow ITR owners. I might change it to a s2k and ITR meet if we don't get too many ITR's. As for location, I will try to pick a nice secluded place.
The last meet we just chilled and talked. I would rather cruise around because nothing is more fun that driving in my ITR.

How about we all meet up for a track day and set up camp there? Nothing beats driving on the track and we can park together and setup camp at Infineon or Thunder Hill. I'll bring my BBQ grill and canopy. The schedule can be found here.

I don't think I can make the April one because I'll still be breaking in my new engine. The May event at Infineon looks promising. Even if you don't track you can still hang out there and meet all the racers and have a good time. I usually go on Sundays and run with Group 3. You can ask different cars for rides on the track and it's a pretty fun action-packed day.
Just something else to think about
. I have a blast at these things with my buddies and the it's a pretty tight community that's open to all enthusiasts. Plus, I just wanna see more ITRs out there on the track.

What is this going to cost us and where is Infineon and Thunder Hill? (about how many miles)? I remember you talking about it at the last meet but forgot. It seems fun if other people want to do it. I don't like beating on my R at the track though. I like to keep here clean.

If you can track it and keep it clean at the same time, that would be the iddeal thing to do. Ofcourse, this is just my oppinion.
There's a NASA event at Infineon on May 5-6th. I believe you need to pay $5-10 to get in at Infineon as a spectator. Think of it as a cheap car show, haha. It's about an hour north of San Francisco right at the Sonoma/Napa freeway junction. I can post directions later. We can just have a good sized meet among the many racers (tighter community and always looking out for each other) and you guys can chat it up and check out other cool rides as well.
I'll bring a canopy and cooler so just bring a lawn chair, some beer (or other drinks to put in the cooler), and some snacks and we can make it an all day or just afternoon thing. If I break in my engine in time I'll be driving on track and be there all day. If not, I'll be there all afternoon to spectate if atleast 4-5 of you guys wanna roll out there. Heck, maybe I'll be there anyways if any of my other friends are going out on the track. Who's keeping tabs on this thing?

If people wanted to track their car, how much would this cost us? You are sure it won't cost more than $10 to get in as a spectator? If we are a spectator, can we park our cars with everyone else in the meet or do we have to leave our cars unattended?
How many people are down to go to the NASA event on May 5th-6th? I will try to get a poll of some sort. If most people want to just have a regular meet/cruise/possible lunch or dinner, we can do that too. I will go with what the majority wants. I could care less. I just want to meet up with other ITR owners.
