I'am having a probllem with my Z6 swap in to my 95 ex coupe. I turn the key engine turns but wont start. First two times turning the key it popped but doesn't do it anymore. so I took the t-belt off and TDC the cam and crank. put the belt back on and tighten the tensioner get it all back together to start, when I turn the key nothing the same thing. except know I'm throwing cel # 10 I think. I'm not sure what to do, motor is all stock with replaced gaskets and arp head bolts, my old motor just had high milage. any help or Ideas........

yup thats a code 10 IAT - Intake Air Temperature sensor.


do you hear your fuel pump priming? when you turn the key on? if not it could be the main relay.

check all fuses?

all grounds? especially the damned transmission ground..

i forgot that ground my first time around, and the car wouldnt do anything

 

yea I hear the fuel pump prime......I checked all the fuses and there good. I checked the grounds and those are also fine. It turns over like it's going to start but not catching......I'll try and get a vid of it.....about that IAT sensor, do I replace that or what??? and where is it located???? I know that's a noob Question but this is Honda-Tech...........any more help or advice would be great, I'm not seeing why this wont start and I'm thinking it's electrical...........

 

its a white sensor on the intake manifold. i dunno exactly where its at on the stock manifold

 

okay gotcha.........I would post a vid of me tryin to start the car but my digi doesn't have sound.........
