weld magnums, what kind of backspacing.
I found a few sets of weld magnums with 5" backspacing. I have a 94 ex coupe with gsr disk brakes up front. I am looking at getting some 13" rims. Thanks guys.

yes and thats common with this type of setups. shouldnt be a problem.

it doesnt take much grinding to make them fit without spacers.
be sure to remove the inside brake pad, and then keep grinding til they dont rub with no inside brake pad, so that way when you have brand new brake pads in there, you will not have any clearance issues at all.

its been awhile since I looked at the design of the back part of the Welds. but most often, its the design of the mounting surface and how flat or curved the center design is, that requires it to have a spacer. No matter what backspace you get, if the design on the back part is totally flat, of course you need a spacer to clear the calipers.
Look at how the spokes on this picture clears. it is designed to clear calipers. if the curve is not enough, then you need a spacer no matter what.

If you cant understand the picture:
The red long part are the spokes. Right above the Exospeed logo is the mounting surface of the wheel, where it goes against the hub mounting surface.
