any major differences between NEW and USED JDM front conversions???
i know new is always better as far as fitment and piece of mind, but i continue to see pics and hear about used frontends and the results look pretty good. granted, i know there are varying conditions in used frontends, but if there are no damages, the swaps i've seen are fairly convincing to make me wanna consider a used one too. i've seen an oem hid used clip cheaper than a new oem NON-hid, sometimes by several hundred dollar$. if you factor in a little extra effort in making sure you have all the tiny little parts needed for the swap, can you can still have a cheaper conversion than new...with good results???. any members out there have any regrets with their used kits??i'm not talking about fiberglass though, just oem honda metal. i know this was discussed before on HT, but any NEW info and experiences would be nice as i live, eat and sleep honda-tech everyday, so i've read past posts already....
Reusing the radiator support should sway most people. But other than that, a used front clip intact should not have any missing pieces, like the brand new kits where the vendor leaves out the small parts to increase their profits.
On that note, I see new JDM radiator supports on ebay frequently.
