Default rsx pistons

Hi

I am looking to get some more n/a power out of my f23 accord... other than bolt ons. I have heard of swapping in rsx ( i believe base, not type s) pistons, but I cannot find much info on the topic. Could anyone tell me more about this swap and what i should expect as far as hp gains and the new c/r. thanks

try contacting a user by the name of PirateMcFred. I read a thread where he was talking about building a NA F23 and using OEM K20A3 pistons to get a 11:1 cr.

not sure on a3 pistons

k20a2 (type-s) pistons will give you around 12.25:1

k20 and the f23 have the same pin size, same bore size and same compression height. the f23 valve angle is the same as the k20. it's basicly just press the k20 pistons onto the f23 rods and go.

I have not acutally assembled this combo, but I have most of the parts in my garage. the only thing I haven't checked is piston to valve clearance. I think it will be ok on a stock f23 cam but who wants that?
