Remodeled out store. I thought I'd share with you the remodel pics. 10+MB, so HighSpeedWarning
For the last 6 years Superior has been look at as a "normal" stereo shop, appearance wise. Of course that is the only normal part of us. We definitely excelled in our work and customer service. Which all of you know made us stand out in the crowd in Fresno as the Premier Car Audio Retail Establishment. Well now with a change in ownership and new name comes a change in appearance. Ray and I decided it was time to look the part of Fresno's premier Car Audio store. With this remodel we can now give all our customers a comfortable environment and different experience when shopping for Car Audio in the Fresno Area. We will be teaming up with the the absolute best Bluetooth/Handsfree specialist in Fresno, Matt Penner with MJ Penner Installations. With the new partnership, we aren't only your one stop shop for Car Audio, but now all your hards free cellular needs.
Here are some pictures of Superior before the remodel as well as some pictures of the past. Superior always had a nice look to it, but a "normal" look.
Here are some pictures I had saved from Christmas 2003 or 2004?

In the below picture, you can see the stickers on the windows. It was hard to see inside the showroom and took away quite a bit of focus from the product itself.

The next 7 pictures are the install bay over the last few years. One of the largest problem with SS was the amount of room we had to work on cars with. A 1 to 1.5 car bay at the best.

Construction picture of the shop.

Done, with the new and improved install bay.
Our new exhaust fan for the bay. We will be adding two 5700cfm Whole House Fans inside this custom metal door frame.

New floors, moved walls, torn down rooms, new paint, new ceiling tiles, new and improved air line ducting for the compressor, etc... Not 100% done, but as soon as we are, I'll post up some more pictures.

Here are some construction pictures of the show room.
The first one is all our crap from the install bay and stock room in the show room.

Here is the new and improved showroom. As you can see a lot has changed here. Please before I go on, I'd like to let you know we're not 100% done. We still have the new sales counter/desk to finish and the new Kiosk to finish. Plus some touch up with the paint and other finishing details. We're also recovering the old display board and giving it an updated look to match the store. We also have a couple new Audison/Hertz displays coming, which I'll go more into depth later in another thread.
We brought in Gary Steinert Interior Designer to help with the showroom. Lets just say he made the envision I had in my head a reality. Unbelievable customer service and person. Thanks Gary!
Some of the changes we made in the showroom.
- New ceiling tiles
- Canned lighting (Removed the commercial florescent lights)
- New track lighting
- Dark brown ceiling color
- Crown Moldings
- New slat wall, painted to match the main radio display
- New carpet
- etc...
Again, we're not 100% done with this room. These are progress pictures. I will update as we finish. Enjoy!

Some updates for tonight. So we're not 100% done with the remodel. But we're getting there. Here is where we're at...
A look at our "good, better, best" slat walls.

An overlook of the store. Don't mind the center island, it's not done. Here you can see the 37" LCD TV we flushed into the wall.

You can see the new color we put on the main display. We're waiting on our new Audison/Hertz display to show up. It will be in place of the chairs you can see in this picture.

Our unfinished alarm display. We're working on a few added features to this wall. One will include another LCD screen to help explain this area to our customers.

The infamous Resonant Engineering 18" XXX.

Our Sales Counter/Office that Ray built in less than 5 hours. So please, don't mind the "rough edges"

A look at the showroom from the desk area.

Ray's "shop" computer. Dual Processor G5. It's probably the only computer out of 7 in the shop that won't and doesn't crash.
The rest run windows.

The 500GB external Firewire 2 HD for our music collection.

Some new improvements in the install bay.

Organization is key.

The whole house fan doing it's job!

Here are some pictures of our very, very small stock room. It's becoming smaller everyday.

Two more of our new storage bins.

We had quite a bit of cabinets given to us by a family member. We still have to paint them.

Some more pictures of the XXX 18 next to a XXX12, RE SE10 and L7 8"
The SE10 is the same size as a JL 10W6.

Shop looks great. I know doing this kind of stuff has got to be a complete pain. When you think of the days you will be closed to do it and how much work it really is to move everything.
Looks great.
Looks great.
Wow... great work. Definately a MAJOR improvement. My only question is... is the install area as dark as it seems in the pics? or is that just the pictures?

It's very bright. Well, not as bright because of the new wall color, but still bright.

Hertz is brand new to the US. They're an Italian made speaker company with a passion for accuracy.
They are the sister company to the Italian made amplifiers from Audison.
Hertz/Audison is in the realm over very high end car audio.
