help with 2000 ford taurus FM antenna
My gf has a 2000 ford taurus ses. I pulled the radio tonight to install a wired FM transmitter. And low and behold theres no antenna plug on the radio. Does ford hide the antenna plug somewhere or does it really not have one? The FM is for an ipod, its only part of the "Drive and play", but i think it'll work haha.
edit, i heard that the connection is in the trunk?

its in the trunk, theres a little box on the drivers side i believe under the carpet where youll find it.youll need two antenna adapters
it's in the trunk on the driver's side of the car. you have to pull out a few small plastic clips and then pull out the carpeting on the driver's side to expose the factory tuner/amp. you will prolly also be needing 2 antenna conversion plugs. one... to go from a ford to universal (to pulg into your FM transmitter) and two...to go from universal back to the ford plug to plug back into the tuner.
