Alarm installed!! ~~~~~NOW tweeking for the 2nd time ~~~~~
Alright guys I install a piece of crap alarm ( PYLE PWD501 ), now its tweeking. First I had issue with the remote start. I had a lot help from FCM (a guy who knows his ****). But anyhow I took that damn remote start out and after 3 days of long stressful work, everything was out. Nothing worked out rite. With the remote start, it had started only once with the remote and shut off perfectly with the remote. But, after that initial time, it wouldn’t start up anymore until I pull the 12V constant wire. So I gave up on that. Now with the alarm itself. I took the whole SOB out and redid all the wiring making sure that everything was done properly. Car was able to armed & disarmed / locking & unlocking doors / lights was working just fine. Now here is the issue. When I disarm the car and start the engine then press on the brakes, the siren comes ON like it was attack. But only very softly. Only happens when I press the brakes. Once I disconnect the brake wire it goes away but when I re press the brake again, the lights come on like a warning sign. NOW the car has no alarm, I’ve been driving it for 3 days now and Im extremely confuse and lost. Can anyone help out please??
Here is the diagram = http://www.pyleaudio.com/manuals/PWD501.pdf
Last page has the wire setup and diagram. Can anyone tell me which wire I should use or not, starting from top to bottom please. This setup is going on EJ1 95 Civic EX 5speed.
Oh yeah for the remote start, the LED light for the TACH does not come on when the dip switch is ON. I am beggin anyone for help or suggestions.

my advice to you is to pull that hunk of crap out and go buy some quality dei product. even if you get this installed perfectly, more then likely in crunch time when someones tampering with your vehicle is when it will not work.

2nd that. I would chuck that and move on to something that works. Thats why I don't install those no matter how much a customer wants to pay me. It becomes a headache that you have to deal with and time is money and life.
I know its a piece of crap already. But really looking for some advise on where i should start. Its my first install with a crappy alarm, at least i would of learn from my mistake, rather than making those mistake on really nice alarm. so please any help..

If its set up as a regular alarm the brain should not know if the brake is being touched
At the moment it is just the alarm itself. The remote start has been taken out. For some odd reasons the brain does notice and the siren will turn on. if i remove it my LCD remote shows brake on the screen. After 30 secs if i press it again the lights tweek out like warning lights.

unplug the brake wire that uses the remote start like the instructions says.
remote start is taken off. but the main alarm needs the brake for some reason. anyone else has any idea..
It only needs it to shut down the remote start.
Why don't you chuck that alarm in the trash and call it a day? You said youself it's a piece. SO IT DOESN'T BELONG ON YOUR CAR.

Yeah, try disconnecting the brake. It may say it needs it, but it doesn't. It might be misinterpreting your brake pedal grounding out the brake light circuit as a negative trigger and firing off the alarm.

BTW, would the programming cause any of these issue? I have not program anything to this alarm. I assume it has a default setting. Even when I try to program the alarm, the chirps are not like it stated on pages 16 of this diagram. On step 5 if I press it 5 times to program #5 it chirp once for the first press and 2x on the second press, making it 3 chirps for only 2 press. Can anyone identify the issue??

double check your ground wire. make sure it's to a paint-free surface in the kick-panel . do not ground to an underdash sub-brace or share it with a factory ground. use the correct sized crimp/eye connector with a self-tapping screw with a star washer.
kinda sounds like the alarm is looking for a more stable ground than the one you provided for it. a lot of times if you have that weak siren it's cuz of a bad ground.
