the z6 and y8 timing belt are the same. they are to short. All so the d15 out of the crx 88-91 are the same. the d16a6 one is to long. THe only one that mignt fit is the d15z1 or the cx or the d15b. Do you know any one that has this set up. Or would know of which timing belt to use.

 

The z6 belt is a tight fit but it works just fine. The d15b7 belt fits too loose in my opinion.

 

thats the one out of the 92-95 civic cx it is loose and the tensioner comes to close to the mount. The z6 y8 and the d15 88-91 are the same they are the shortest belt for the d series. the one that fits is the z6 y8 and d15 88-91

 

im doing the mini swap on my civc hatch and 4 out 5 places i look it told to use the z6 timing belt for my d15b7
