I believe you need the belt that matches the head i.e. Y8 head Y8 belt Z6 head Z6 belt etc,

I am pretty positive we used a d16z6 belt but it was a tight fit. It was also 4 years ago

Ok the last couple of day i have lived in my garage. Ha I am going to start my car up tomorrow. The engine is new and it is built for turbo. I got the timing belt to fit it was just that i didnt have the spring on the tensioner of thats why the z6-y8 belt didnt fit. Also there are four different d16-15 belts. THere are the d16a6 which is the longest and the d15 88-91,z6-y8's are the same. THe other two belt are from the vx and cx the cx is the shorter on and the vx is longer.
