okay everyone about a week ago i came across these HX rims on craigslist n they were polished but i wasnt too fond of them being polished so instead i painted them they are currently on my crx and here is wat they look like....

and just last night i picked up a full set of 00 si rims ...


ive always wanted them but i also like the hx. ive even had offers for the hx rims for more than i paid. i wanted to see wat u guys thinks and ur opinions...thanks

I voted for the HX fo sho. I always thought the Si rims looked goofy on our cars. Sell them and fix your front fender with the money .

fenders are already purchased man. had to drive from sac to hayward last friday to get a pair for $50. now im just savin up for a paint job. has anyone ever tried the "macco ambassador paint"? i was curious on how it turns out.

 

i've heard everything macco sux... a buddy of mine got his celica done and unless you completely prep the car yourself they'll just spray everything... plus his paint started bubbling and ****... to maaco... spend the extra money and get it done by a good paint shop you wont be dissapointed

if i had to rock OEM wheels again. i'd go with the HX wheels.

more 'sporty' look. and lighter too.

yea i was also thinkin of givin my buddy the si's cuz he's been searchin for them for awhile but didnt wana pay the 350+ that they go for on craigslist. i only got these for my old rims +$50....

i had my 90 accord painted at macco about 2 1/2 years ago and it still looks good i agree u have to prep it or get someone else to do it with out a good prep it wouldnt come out good

to be honest with you i like the hx wheels but think they look like $h!t ,especially them lug nuts..don't get pissed because im giving u my oppinion but i would sell the si's and get the hx's powder coated black and get better lug nuts , when u get the car painted it would be mad nice ..the other wheels ive seen before and think they are american racing

 

Im goin to say SI wheels... they bring out the car alot more especially with that color. Just My opinion.

haha i just noticed that. Is that a McDonalds steering wheel?

 

the lugs i had on my hatch and then put them on here untill i can now get some good lugs so my **** dont get jacked. the steering wheel is autolock cover. lol. signals are from previous owner, the whole goes straight through the fender so i left em on. i have 2 sets of jdm signals waitin to go on my new fenders after i save up for paint job. i was thinkin of either gettin the current color re-done or goin gunmetal metallic. wat du u think?

Agreed! NEVER change that color. But remove the wing as soon as you can...
