My gauge works intermittently, any ideas?

When I first turn the vehicle on, it reads. After driving for a bit, hitting a few bumps, it goes as far up as it possibly can till its a bit over the F.

So far I've heard the following:
1.) Cluster
2.) FSU
3.) Grounds that the FSU may have

I don't know where to start other than trying a different cluster.

I doubt its the cluster, but if you wanted too, swap yours with someone elses and see if it does it, if not then the FSU might need replacing

Is it difficult/timely to replace the FSU?
