bad ringlands?? how to check..
i was told my ringlands may be the cause of my power loss.. how do i check the condition of my ringlands?? any obvious signs that they are bad.

Once you remove the pistons from the cylinder walls, it's not advisable to put them back in.
-inspect the cylinder walls, notice a crosshatch?
-if you have the engine out of the car, take the block to the machine shop and overbore your cylinderwalls by .5mm
-if you decide to overbore, purchase overbored pistons and piston rings 75.5mm
-have your machine shop overbore the cylinder walls and then re-assemble the pistons and engine
-might as well inspect your bearings when your engine is appart and if anything have them replaced
it will help any oil burning issues and seal up the compression great
