Default KNOCK SENSOR

well i've been looking for a knock sensor for my y7/y8 mini i dont have the money to go out and buy a new one so i was thinking of using one off a dodge mini van. i got one for free at my uncles junk yard and was wondering if all knock sensors put out the same volts? the one i have looks just like this.
http://www.dgpartswholesale.co....html do you think this will work with out frying anything? it was free so i figured if it worked it would save me about 50-100 bucks

Have you checked hondata? I thought they may have made a dummy knock sensor or somthing, but can't remember for sure.

i e-mailed them about it, how do i check the volts that a knock sensor produces? i know it makes its own volts.
