baught a eg with a built b16a last night, its got a jdm gsr head with alllllllll skunk2 **** in it. Im running a gsr p72 ecu and im hitting rev limiter at 72-7300 amd im throwing a check engine litght. I jumped it to check the light and its solid on the cluster it never blinks any ideas?

 

bad ecu maybe?

 

man i really hope not, car feels like its running like **** also, doesnt barely move out all untill vtec and high vtec like 6 then i shift at 7

 

how do i know if im in safe mode or not?

 

try changing ECU with a working one..because a solid CEL usually means a bad ECU

 

i out a tuned p28 in it and it rolllls out now no problems. thanks for the help
