easy question, but for the life of me i cant feel confident with my anwser
i have a 88 CRX hx
it has mpfi and a pm8(i assume)
i came across a z6 head and am going to use it for a minime
i succesfully found the wiring pin locations to use a p28 i was looking for but it looks like it was written for a pm6
just wanted to make sure my 88 rex was a pm8
and that the pin locations and everything(other than fuel/ignition maps and redline) would be the same from the pm8 to the pm6 so that i know these pin locations i found are right.....need a late night anwser this wirirng is all that i have left to do.

The wiring is almost the same, I'm assuming you meant 88 HF, not HX. You need to rewire the shift light for an A6 swap, so it's probably the same for the Z6 head:

Next is the fast idle control solenoid valve (FICSV), which is mounted on the back of the Si intake plenum, near the EACV. Its plug uses 2 wires: black/yellow and blue. Black/Yellow (later referred to as B/Y) is a 12V + and routes to the B/Y from the EACV plug. The blue wire goes to pin B2 on the ECU. B2 is currently connected to the green/yellow wire from the "shift up light" in the gauge cluster. The plug for this wire contains a green/orange and a yellow/red wire. It is under the driver's side of the dash, connected alongside the fusebox with a white plug. Cut the green/yellow wire from the plug on the harness and splice in the blue wire from the fast idle control solenoid valve, with the new wire going toward the ECU. Don't connect the FICSV wire to the plug under the dash, or weird stuff will happen with your shift light! The "shift up" light is now disconnected (YAAAAAA!!!) and the green/yellow wire on the plug under the dash now hangs bare. FICSV wiring is now complete.
</TD></TR></TABLE>
Now, assuming you DO have an HF motor in there, you can't just swap the Z6 head on. The HF motor is an 8-valve, and only has two valve reliefs in each piston, while the Z6 is a 16 valve head... I think you can figure out what's going to happen.
