ls vtec pro 1 thoughts
my brother has a 92 cx hatch with an ls vtec and just got pro 1 cams for it and i just wanted to see what you guys thought the power would be like.
setup:
Gsr block
Ls crank and rods
usdm b16 pistons
b16 head
skunk 2 high comp valves, springs and retainers
gsr cams and cam gears right now
skunk 2 IM
dc 4-1 type r style header w/ 2.5 collector
2.5 test pipe
dc catback
fidanza flywheel
act street disc w/extreme pp
power now 172 whp and couldn't get a torque reading because of no tac signal
~129 wtq
people say that the head might be ported because power peaks ~8k rpm with gsr cams
semi-tuned by J-k-tuning
1/4 mile so far 13.3@103.5 at beaver springs
just got s2 pro 1 cams and pro cam gears in the mail and wanted to see what you guys think. Cams going in and new dyno by the end of april.

Why is that?
I know for a fact that the JDM DC 4-1 is the best bang for the buck header out there.
I personally only made 5whp more by switching from this header to the RMF narrow header.
The header is fine.
Put the cams in, get John to tune you. You'll be more than happy.

depends on how much power and what engine your talking about..all engines will vary on power gains when switching those headers..
i agree though if you find one cheap, it is the best header other than dtr rmf hytech etc..
