i just installed pioneer tweeters into my 97 civic now when i lower down the volume down to zero i hear a pop, also i hear it pop when im going through radio stations, and im also hearing a little bit of engine noise coming through them. i ran the tweeters to the factory wiring and i dont know if that has anything to do with them popping. all help is greatly appreciated.

 

Did you install some kind of x-over on the tweeters? 94

na what came with it was already on it got like a bass blocker on it i think

 

That's what your deck was doing the whole time, but you did not notice it until you put in the more efficient tweeters.

 

yes. now im getting a lil engine noise coming from them.
