Hi there! This is the turd i picked up last week, as you can see, it's not a honda but I always wanted one. It's a <U>90 Miata 5speed base </U>

The car is in pretty bad shape apperance wise, but the mechancial still is going strong.

The Bad:

-bad paint: OG colour was red and I am willing to bet the crappy paint job on now is less than 2 bones

-A/C: 17 years old and not functional

-interior: What a flaming load of dog poop, cracks, rattle, ribs there and here(all fixed now, thanks to my uber stitching/sewing skill)

-aftermarket cat: loud as hell but passed emission tho'

-Reverse light switch: it's gone and it costed me 20 bucks

-the rag top: someone tried to jack the POS HU, TWICE.

-missing spare donut

-plugged drain hole for the top

-crappy hack job alarm and mulitple unknow switches, leds and holes

Stuff I done to it:

-Axxis MM pads

-motor, trans, diff. oil change/filter

-air filter

-new interior pieces

-stitched all the holes in the seat

-rewire the HU and added ipod connection

-rewire the interior light

-rewire the small light

-rewired the cig lighter

-flushed brake fluid

-timing belt in the mail

-honda hype-Wah shiftboot

-adjusted parking brake

-new rag top(what a pain to install )

-skateboard grip tape pedal

-tie rod ends in the mail

-antenna delete

The thief used a pretty long blade

The verdict

gas saver, RWD, small, 2116lb, stick, cheap 14inch tires, cheap part, large aftermarket, and everything cost less than $2000. Did i mention FUN?
Oh yeah, THIS WILL BE BOOSTED

suspension pieces
Panasport
Turblew
Roll bar/style bar
timing belt/waterpump/thermostate/rad cap

wow 2116lb wth i didnt know they where THAT lite. i always liked th elook of hte pop up headlights more than the newer gens.

I miss my old NA. I had a Classic Red one with a JRSC, full suspension (fr sway bar, shocks & springs) and 13x8's.... Its the funnest car I have ever owned.

IMO you over paid because I bought mines for the same price

I would love to see Enkei Racing S's on it.

I'm in Cali too sucka. Good thing you didn't buy my coupe... I want to keep it now. It is just too straight to let go.

Kepani here on HT has a clean *** blue one.
