hey guy ...well today i got my A/C fixedd .. i put in a new compressor belt and the shop just filled the system with freon R134 a

its just not blowing that cold ... anybody know what the problem could be .. or shuold i just go to Auto Zone and get that A?C boost stuff ?

I just had mine recharged and its not that cold...maybe its just hondas?

 

What year civic's, guys???

 

Check your heater valves inside the engine bay near the firewall.
Hondas are known for those not going completly to the cold side and letting some hot coolant to run through the heater core.

Easy to tell. Turn a/c to coldest setting. Pop hood. There will be a little thing with a wire on it. If you can move that over even 1mm then that will lose you around 7 degrees.

 

well i went back to the shopthat put the freon in and i guess when they did a leak test the left the stuff in there (its a neon yellow ) just a little though . so they took it out and it was blowing cold !
its so nice to have an A/C . last summer it was busted and god damn was it hot i had to drive with an ice pack in my pants just to stay cool .
