gutted or non-gutted cat?
my friend has a 93 gsr swap civic, gutted cat and it sounds and looks(the exhasut fumes at night) great. but I heard performance wise that I will lose some power if I do it to my 93 EX(stock motor), true?

I believe its true that you will lose some power in the low end because there is not enough backpressure. Please correct me if i am wrong. Plus ive never heard a car that sounds good with a gutted cat. Always sounded horrible and most of them backfired.

Back pressure is the enemy
BUT having said that with out a tune it is really a waste of time!
