what's up my fit people?
SO....i plan to install springs and shocks on my fit, but i can't seem to find kyb agx shocks, or any for that matter... for the honda fit.... am i looking n the wrong places???
i can only do a light drop, as my back seats are permanantly down and need some stiffness for the extra weight,...( prob 200 lbs) i carry everday.
does anybody have adjustable shocks, if so which ones!!!?
Help me reach my GO-KART goal!!!

Well, honestly man.. Unless you want to go with a full-bodied coilover setup, you aren't gonna have much luck looking for just shocks/struts to match your springs. I haven't seen many companies that offer just the shocks/struts. At one time, I saw some Spoon pieces, but that is the only one I can remember.
What springs do you have?? I currently have the Version 1 T1R springs on my Fit, and I carry around a load of tools all the time (handyman/maintenance work). I can tell you that with no upgrades to the OEM shock/struts, my car handles great. I personally want to go lower, so I will be going up to a full-bodied coilover system eventually.
Maybe I didn't give you a clear answer to your question, but I hope I provided you with some insight as to your situation. Good luck, and if you find some decent struts, report back and let us know.

I'm surprised Koni hasn't come out w/ something yet. Since the Fit has been on the world market so long, you'd think they would have an offering by now.
I've asked around everywhere!
No Aftermarket performance Struts/shocks for the FIT in priduction nor R&D!
I have skunk2 springs just waiting......

price is the issue w/ me, i'm lookin for a good look w/ some added stiffness. I'd like to order some rota wheels, tires, shocks, springs, and maybe a strut bar for around $1750. coilovers, i think, are a little over board for my objective.
but if i have to i guess i'll get em.

I don't like t1r's quality. Made in China.....
Also the Skunk2 springs I have are not installed, so I have no pics. I do not want to blow my shocks/struts and bounce all over the road! That plus the camber correction!
There are Honda Factory slotted bolts to fix front camber, not rear....
But as the thread states we are intrested in the availability of after market struts/shocks!
Still waiting..............

I have Vogtland springs on my car. Just get a front end alignment about a week after lowering it, you will be good. As far as camber in the rear, its non existant. The design of the rear suspension basically eliminates any camber issues.
